Rise of the Tomb Raider
Second game in the _Survivor_ trilogy and this is better then the first. More areas to explore and more tombs to die in. Lara is sill a murder hobo that kill more people that Sam Fisher. Her life would improve if she took a lesson from Tuco and shoot people instead of talking.

Far Cry 4
Visit the fictional Himalayan country of Kyrat and get your stealth kills messed up by random animals. My track record for completing Far Cry games is not the best so nice with one I managed to finish. Pagan Min was a fun villain that survived and Kyrat ended up as a drug empire.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
Lot's of items, dungeons and two worlds to explore. No way I would played this without a guide.

The kidnappings will continue until Zelda's security improves.

South of Midnight
With the walking, climbing, sliding and escape sequences this feels very walking simulator. Arena fights with bland monsters unlock the linear progression and lore drops. Combat is not fun. This game would have benefited removing the combat and focus on other things. Crouton deserved a larger role and a better game.

Aphelion
Crash land with two astronauts on a frozen planet and 10 min into the game you wish they died. No interesting personalities and no subtlety as they say everything out loud. So often that I wonder if this a second screen game experience. My favorite is when one of them find a map with an area marked the Source and she say 'This place, it must be the Source'. It's also reaction shot, the game so you are forced to look at the stupid face all the time. Why 'Show, don't tell' when you can tell and close-up the person telling you.

Gameplay is walking, sliding, balancing, climbing and escape sequences simulator. Linear and buggy that let you die at random.

Recommendation is 'Ignore, don't play'.
